Our programme treats both male and female who are 18 years and above who have a BMI of 30 and above and have found it difficult to lose weight. We also work with the primary care physician in the management of patient with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, polycystic ovarian syndrome.etc who are overweight or obese and require a specialized care in losing weight.

OUR TEAM

Dr. Dayo Osholowu

Dr. Adedayo Osholowu: He is the director of EHS Sport Medicine Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Service, a pioneer of sport medicine in Nigeria and renowned Sport Medicine Physician in Africa.

His professional focus is football medicine and he is an alumnus of the prestigious FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence Johannesburg where he earned a postgraduate certification in football. He received his initial postgraduate training in sport medicine from the medical commission of the International Olympic committee (IOC) and the Federation de International Du Sport Medicine(FIMS) in 2006. Prior to this, he had completed training at the centre for shoulder elbow and sports medicine at Columbia university New York. He completed his basic medical training at the college of medicine university of Lagos.

His most recent international appointments include sport Medicine consulting positions with Athens 2011 Special Olympics World Games Medical Team, South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup and medical team, consulting Sport Medicine Physician 2009 African Hockey Championships and Ghana 2008 African Football Cup of Nations Medical Teams. He has also won medals and received a personal recognition for his service to the Nigerian Male and female Hockey National teams. Locally he has served as a doctor to the Lagos international half marathon, BG Lagos Triathlon, Dodan Warriors and Lagos islanders professional basketball teams.

He his a member of the FIFA international football medicine and international federation of sport medicine. His main research area is sport injury prevention, and he has published more than 20 original research articles review papers and book chapters.

 

Dr. Saka Kazeem

Head of Endocrinology Service.

He his an award-winning physician whose MD degree was obtained at the prestigious university of Ibadan. He subsequently obtained his postgraduate training in New York at the Interfaith Medical Centre, a state university of New York Downstate affiliate in internal medicine and fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism.

Dr. Kazeem has been practicing as a consultant endocrinologist for the past 20 years with additional certification in Nuclear Thyroidectomy, fine needle aspiration biopsy and clinical bone densitometry.

 

Mrs Onabolu

Manager EHS Women and Children Health Services.

Mrs Onabolu is a nurse and mother. She is licensed to practice in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She received her basic nursing training at the school of nursing Lagos state with additional training and experience working with the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom.

 

Mr Seun Fadina

Physical Fitness Trainer.

Seun Fadina previously served as manager of the Lagoon Hospital sport medicine service where he was a responsible for all clinic operations and support functions across 3 sites in the hospital network. He is currently undergoing certification as a physical Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicines. In 2012, he served as the physical fitness trainer of the Dodan Warriors 1st Division Professional Basketball Teams.
